At Piercing by Lani, an aftercare counseling session takes place beforehand to make sure the client fully understands the importance of taking care or their piercing.  Following the aftercare instructions are the most import part of getting a piercing!  Most piercings are done for one reason:  To make you look better!  An infected piercing does not make you look good.  We take time to teach you proven methods so your piercing not only looks good when we do it, but keeps looking good as well!
